Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Martha & Jo from Prestige Events in Hereford are aiming to raise as much money as possible to help with the new redevelopment of the St Michaels Hospice in memory of Martha's mum Barbara affectionately known as 'Bobby' and Jo's friend Lucille who both sadly died there.

We want to make it as comfortable as possible for future patients at this wonderful Hospice where all care is free of charge but relies on charity donations for 90% of its funds.

The Hospice is currently being redeveloped with a new building creating a further 4 beds and a new day centre.  We have asked for options of things to raise money for and have been given the following:

Option 1 - Furnishing of all 20 bedrooms - £50,000

Option 2 - Landscaping of all the gardens including water features outside each room - £50,000

Option 3 - Provide hydrotherapy baths for relaxation and for those that struggle in showers and baths - £36,000

We intend to do all 3! We will start with one at a time and hopefully reach our full target by July 2015 with a series of fundraising events.

Please support us as much as you can & help us to make a real difference in memory of our loved ones because lets face it we all know someone who has benefitted from the Hospice and we don't know who will be next so lets make it the best place we can!
