My story

***Update, As many of you are aware, once I arrived in San Fran, the most random thing happened to me. I got married to an America girl.

I am continuing this adventure, but now i'm circumnavigating the USA with my wife. Hopefully ended up where I started, at my new home - New York City. The second part of this adventure i'll be joined with my awesome wife, Julie. ****

On May 4th, 2011 I shall be leaving the U.K and head to the USA for an adventure of a lifetime. The plan is to get from New York to Seattle, solo on a bicycle. THAT'S RIGHT, you heard me, I'm going to cycle across America..... The land of the free... errr, yes.

From Seattle, I have no plans or a time frame, just the sprit of adventure which I hope will keep me going all the way around the world until I find my way home..... The random way home.

I've worked out with the money i'm taking, if I'm careful I should be able to last a couple of years on the road. This time, I shall try my hand at vlogging (Video Blogging). Don't worry, I shall also be taking my camera to carry on my love of documentary and travel photography.

I thought with all this time off, I should do something to help others. I have chosen Cancer Research U.K as one of the charities for this adventure. Without the work & research of such a great organisation then many more people would lose their lives to cancer. I'm dedicating this trip to my Mum, her friends and anyone else who has been affected by cancer in some way or form.

I am funding this trip entirely out of my own pocket or until I can get some sponsors onboard. All the money raised will go directly to Cancer Research U.K.

So please give to this awesome cause.

The Random.
