Story

For the third time in a row I will be riding the Tour de Fireflies across the alps to raise money for LEUKA.

This ride is incredibly tough going, physically and emotionally knackering and relentless (last time there were tears of pain on day 2!). We climb about 90,000ft in total over 1000km, in 8 days from Geneva to Cannes, go up and over about 19 mountains, and ride in the saddle 10-12 hrs a day!

Last year I was blown away by how many of you sponsored me and I want to thank you again for being so generous! However this is another year and your support is needed again.

I pay for the ride myself; flights, food, accommodation etc and put in many hours of training in order to prepare - so importantly ALL of your donations go to Leuka and towards helping people who are suffering with Leukaemia. Leuka raises money to support life saving research into the causes and treatment of Leukaemia. To date this ride alone has raised over £800,000 and I have been to the Catherine Lewis centre in Hammersmith and seen part of what the money we have raised so far has paid for.

Donating through JustGiving is quick, easy and totally secure. Leuka gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added at no cost to you.

So please dig as deep as you can, every £1 will help!  THANK YOU  Mark x

For those who suffer we ride!
