I´m an artist. I have been one ever since I can remember. 

I´ve always loved music - the way it made me feel, the way it transported me to a different world where everything was vibrant and exciting. I thought I knew what I liked. I thought I understood music. Until I discovered AMY WINEHOUSE: 

Her talent for words and melody changed my perception of music. She opened up a new world of possibilites for me. Suddenly not everything was about minor and major keys or about how catchy a hook was. It became about what was said and how it was delivered. All the black and white suddenly started to shift into shades . It became about more than the music. It was about the feeling. 

I grew as a person, as a songwriter and as an artist because of Amy Winehouse and losing her meant I got robbed. Robbed of the chance to learn more. I was robbed of the chance to maybe one day meet her, hug her and thank her. I was never going to be able to one day share a studio or a song with the artist that from a distance taught me everything that mattered.

Thanks to the Amy Winehouse Foundation I now have the opportunity to give something back. Not to Amy directly but to those people who she so selflessly gave herself to without measure. 

I can now be a part of something bigger and I hope you, yes you... the person reading this right now will join me and stand by me as we make a difference.

The Foundation’s work focuses on three core areas

1. To inform and educate young people about the effects of drug and alcohol misuse, as well as to support those seeking help for their problems and those needing on-going support in their recovery

2. To provide support for those most vulnerable, including those who are disadvantaged through circumstance or at high risk of substance misuse.

3. To support the personal development of disadvantaged young people through music.

• On May 6th 2014 I released a new single digitally and you´re able to buy it on iTunes, amazon, napster or whatever your digital music store of choice is. As part of my efforts to fundraise for the Amy Winehouse Foundation I´ll be donating all earnings coming from selling the single but mind you, royalties are paid as soon as a certain amount is reached or at set periods of times.
• Since this fundraiser will be an ongoing one I'll do my best to find different other ways to raise money on my own as well.
