About my charity

Pattaya Orphanage Trust
The Pattaya Orphanage Trust helps vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Thailand - abandoned, disabled, HIV+, tsunami survivors or street children. With your help, we provide a home, education and future for almost 1000 children, and reach out to thousands more through health and nutrition projects.
- How it all started -
Over 30 years ago a baby was left on the doorstep of a Catholic priest in Pattaya. Father Ray Brennan took this child in and with this single compassionate act the Pattaya Orphanage Trust was born.
The Pattaya Orphanage Trust is now the main overseas supporter of the Father Ray Foundation, the Thai parent charity of our projects in Pattaya. We also support projects in Rayong and the south of Thailand, making us the largest UK charity focusing on Thailand.
- The children -
We aim to support the most needy children in Thailand: orphans, children with HIV and AIDS, street kids, children affected by the Tsunami, blind children, deaf children and disabled young people.
Today, with the generosity of people like you, we provide a safe and loving home, including food, shelter, medical care and access to education, to over 1000 children.

I am preparing to take part in a 1-week BUPA’s 60th anniversary international charity challenge later this year in northern . This will involve a challenging 7 days work with the local community to help assist Sarnelli House orphanage with a number of manual project to improve the facilities and quality of life for the children living there. This is not an average trip and is certainly not a holiday. It is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community and will teach me valuable life skill such as leadership, communication and team working. Over the next few months, I have the task of raising £1,000 which will go to Sarnelli House orphanage. I have organised various activities such as a car wash disco and running an odd job during evenings and weekends. I thought you may wish to consider sponsoring me in one way or another. I hope you will be able to sponsor me and would be grateful if you could let me have your contribution as soon as possible.
