Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

AFC Bournemouth Football Club has teamed up with Help the Aged to raise money on two fronts.

The first is for the charity Help the Aged and the work they do to defeat ageism around the country, including within your local area; helping to improve quality of life amongst elderly people.

The second part of the fundraising will see funds going directly to the pitch at AFC Bournemouth, helping groundsman Dave Edwards to create the best possible surface for the team to play on - a better surface will see the team playing better football and will benefit fans' enjoyment of watching the Cherries play.

My part in this is to run the 26.2 mile course round London on April 17th. Sponsoring me through this web page is the easiest and quickest way to lend your support and every donation can make a huge difference. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help the Aged will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. I would like to thank Lloyds TSB, T&F Sports and the AFC Bournemouth independent web site www.rednblack.net for their support.
