We provide support services and work to reduce the number of baby deaths

Story

Theresa died just hours from her delivery into this world and with it so did some of our hopes and dreams.

During my pregnancy Theresa was a healthy energetic being who gave me such joy. We so wanted to be her parents and to share our love with her but we never saw her laugh, smile or cry. She will always be part of us and will always be our first child.

We may never find out why she died. We will always have questions and grief to bear, moments that may take us by surprise, which is why Sands is important to us and why we've set up this donation page.

Sands is a national charity, established by bereaved parents in 1981.

They have 3 core aims which are to:

- Support affected by the death of a baby;- To work in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care and services offered to bereaved families; andTo promote research and changes in practice that could help to reduce the loss of babies' lives
