This page is dedicated to our dear friend Paul, known to many simply as The Reverend Goatboy. Amongst many other things, he was a wonderful raconteur, a true gentleman and always entertaining company. Like the consummate rock'n'roller he was, the Reverend believed life was something best lived at 100mph and soundtracked by a Motorhead song. Sadly, on July 29th 2007, he was taken from us. We will miss him.
Although he epitomised the phrase "larger than life", Paul was also a kind, generous and thoughtful man who would think nothing of helping others, often at the drop of a tin-foil hat. The work of the Parkinson's Disease Society is something that had become particularly close to his heart in recent years, so we've set up this page both as a small tribute to him and to help enable the PDS to continue their valuable work.
If you knew Paul, or met him, or spent time with him, if he ever made you laugh, bought you a drink, or did you a favour, then please donate as much as you can. To remember him by giving a little something to others is the kind of gesture we think he'd appreciate. Thank you.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Parkinson's Disease Society will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
