Welcome to the fundraising page for The Road to Bilbao, our cycle trip from St Malo in north-west France to Bilbao in north-east Spain, a journey of more than 600 miles over 11 days, finishing with 2 days over some small hills known as the Pyrenees.

From May 6th till 19th 2009, "Team Tonk" , will be battling the elements, french drivers and some seriously sore rear ends, all in aid of Tree Aid, a fantastic charity which helps African communities make the most of their limited resources and environment sustainably. 

We are also hoping to promote awareness of climate change and encourage people to reduce their carbon emissions, so our trip will be as environmentally-friendly as possible: We will be travelling solely by train, ferry, and of course, bicycle!
