Staffed entirely by volunteers our talking paper is produced on tape each week and is free to visually impaired people in and around Lewisham. To make the transition to digital format ensuring the survival of the service to listeners we need the support and generosity of the community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Lewisham Talking Newspaper, support blind and partially sighted people across the Borough of Lewisham by providing them a free weekly cassette containing recorded articles read from local newspapers.

These are currently sent on audio cassette to the blind and partially sighted ‘readers’. They will shortly be upgrading our service to replace the cassettes with memory sticks. Your kind contribution will help enormously in enhancing the service we provide.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

With love,

Liz  xXx
