Ebrahim College was established in 2003 as a Darul Uloom style seminary appropriate for the modern world. The aim was to benefit from the rigour and credibility of the traditional Darul Uloom and, where it was deemed beneficial, merge it with the best in modern curriculum development, pedagogy, technology and research.

Story

“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” [Ar-Rad:11]

Asalaamu Alaikum/Hello to all my family and friends!! :)

Firstly I will take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my page and for making the intention to donate :D. Secondly I welcome you to the epic campaign that is The Seekers' Quest!!

Alhumdulillah after a very successful first season I am privileged  to be a part of the team once again and return this year with a whole new series of challenges and events.

The verse that that you see above perfectly encapsulates what The Seekers' Quest is all about and what we aim to achieve, the idea is to help improve the condition of the Ummah and make us 'spiritually, mentally and physically fitter'. This is done through promoting Islamic education, organising sponsored fundraising challenge events and encouraging active healthier lifestyles. Ultimately, we aim to become 'fit for purpose'; i.e. to worship Allah and serve His creation.

With this in mind I will be taking part in a series of grueling challenges and holding various events throughout the year all to raise money for two very worthy causes, supporting Orphans in Palestine with humanitarian charity Islamic Help (from their education, food and shelter to their shelter, health and well being) and sponsoring students here in the UK with Khalil Foundation, the umbrella organisation of Ebrahim College, subsidising student costs to help teach our next generation of scholars.

“When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)” Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim

Thank you once again for taking the time out to visit my page and please dig deep into your pockets and hearts to help support and make this difference!
