My story

TRAILER: www.thesoundofmumbai.org

You saw the film.
The kids touched your heart.
Now its time to touch their lives.
The children in the film 'The Sound of Mumbai' have the ability and determination to improve their living standards, they just need the opportunity.
Your contribution will go towards a library for the school, an improved music programme, more computers and a scholarship programme for gifted children like Ashish.
We're working closely with the school, KINOE and their Indian partners Akanksha to change the lives of these children forever.
Akanksha have been educating children from the slums for over twenty years. They give over 3500 children access to teachers in 58 centres and 6 schools. They have branches in the US, UK and Canada all of whom are focused on raising the standards of education of children from the slums of India.
Hundreds of Akanksha children have gone on to study at colleges and won jobs that have enabled them to pull themselves and their families out of the slums.
Ashish and his classmates have enormous mountains to climb to have any hope of finding their dreams. There will come a moment in their young lives when they realize just how enormous the obstacles in their paths are.
We can stop that hopelessness creeping in.
We can be the change in their lives.
Please give generously.
