About our charity : Cardiac Risk in the Young Cardiac Risk in the Young
Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. Us three are going to be doing a walk (yes just a walk, not quite ready for a run yet!!!) to raise money C-R-Y. As most of you are aware Bex lost her brother Matt nearly six years ago and this charity works closely with young people with cardiac problems.
