One Opportunity can change everything. With the right tools and support, people can build more than income. They build futures. For over 50 years, Opportunity has walked alongside people as they unlock change, one opportunity at a time, through microfinance, training and support.

Story

The Weasels have high hopes for this year’s Lloyds Banking Group Corporate Challenge, which takes place on Wednesday 23rd September at Shuttleworth Park, near Biggleswade.

The team, which includes Adrian Lunan, Dave Forward, Stuart Warren, Luke Macdonald, Donald Milligan, Patrick Lynch, Paul Holland, Nicholas Parrott, will be competing in a series of activities against fellow colleagues on the day.

In the run up to this day,  fundraising milestones we have set ourselves include a number of outlandish activities, such as:

£1000: Singing "YMCA" in public....talk about embarrasing.

£2000: 5 Mile jog through the City of London...wait for it...wearing a Skirt & Bra!!!!!

£3000: Bike Ride to work...some of us Essex boys live 30 miles away!

£4000: Waxing of each team members legs or Derriere....Ooooouch!

So don’t be shy, sponsor us today, the more we rasie, the worse the punishment!!! Help get The Weasels on the road to glory. The event’s chosen charity is Opportunity International and the teams are keen to raise as much as possible.

Opportunity International provides people in developing countries with microfinance (small loans, training, savings and insurance) to help them to help themselves out of poverty. Visit http://www.opportunity.org.uk/ to find out more.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and we look forward to coming back victorious!!
