Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  As you know we will be getting married after a decade of vacillation (Rob's, Claire never vacillates) on 4th December this year.  Those of you fortunate enough to have visited Casa Burton-Dryburgh will have witnessed for yourselves the wonders that can be wrought with, not one, but two saucepans and a ramshackle collection of University era crockery.  Six years of co-habitation has led us to believe that if he haven't bought it for ourselves by now we are either to lazy to deserve it or maybe just have all that we need for happiness already!  Which is why we would be delighted if you felt able to make a small donation in our honour to give a few more people than just us the start in life that goes hand in hand with weddings.

Concern Universal supports initiatives that improve the daily lives of people living in some of the world's poorest communities - for instance providing greater income earning opportunities, improved health care or a clean water supply.  We heard about Concern Universal from our friend Robin who has worked for and with them for many years both overseas and in the UK.   We'd like to use our wedding day to raise enough for them to train a young farmer in Gambia, repair a school building in Bangladesh or buy 750 giant rats for villages in Ghana....  We'll leave the details to Concern Universal who are the experts, but you get the idea.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
