Warrington Disability Partnership’s accessible narrow boat ‘Wizard’ is based at Thorn Marine in Stockton Heath and run by volunteers. The Wizard provides free trips along the scenic canal for local disability groups, hospices, nursing homes and respite trips for disabled people, children and their families. The Lions Club are raising funds to keep the Wizard going and in good repair. Our walk will be starting at the Watch House, Stretford at 10am,(9 miles) or you can join us later at the Bay MaltonPub, Altrincham at 11 am.(4.5 miles). Both ending at The Bridgewater Club in Lymm.
