Story

They will never make it!

As part of this years charity fundraising, a group of Open GI Ltd staff, along with a couple of interlopers, are taking on the massive challenge of completing the Three Peaks event.

The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. The peaks are Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowdon.

As most of the team are inexperienced trekkers, this will be a personal challenge as well as a physical one. For more information on the team and the challenge, please visit our website, www.theywillnevermakeit.info

Please help us raise as much money for Cancer Research UK. Any money raised by us gets added to by Open GI Ltd.

Open Gi, through our parent company,Towergate, has made a special agreement with Cancer Research UK, that a lump sum equal to the total monies raised by Open Gi & Towergate employees taking part in this event will help fund a research project run by Professor Harris in Oxford.  He and his team are looking into treatments that can prevent tumours from forming their own blood supply – one of the best chances we have of stopping the growth and spread of many types of cancer.
