My story
Hello there and thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.
I am running the Glasgow Women's 10K on Sunday 09 May 2010 and it will be my 15th consecutive year of participating in the world's greatest running event and I can't wait! My best time ever (and that was a couple of years ago!) was 53.20 but this year I want to do it in under 50 minutes - yikes!
I am delighted to be raising money for ThinkPink Scotland. Think Pink was set up to raise awareness and generate funds towards breast cancer research in Scotland and donations go towards the University of Glasgow Beatson Pebble Appeal, raising money to build a dedicated laboratory in the Beatson Research Centre.
Thank you in advance for your support which will make a fantastic contribution to the Beatson Centre users and their families... and will also spur me on to reach my goal.

The University of Glasgow Trust is the main vehicle for philanthropic donations to the University of Glasgow. The Trustees are responsible for disbursement of grants from gifts made to University of Glasgow priority fundraising projects. These include; the Medical Fund, Chancellor's Fund, Scholarships Fund, Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, The Scottish Centre for Ecology and the Natural Environment (SCENE), the Small Animal Hospital Campaign and the Beatson Pebble Appeal. The Trust also receives and administers unrestricted gifts and bequests for the benefit of the University.
