Story
Dear Friends
The story behind this page has devastated my family and friends who loved, knew and shared Chloe's life.
Chloe is our daughter and at the very early age of 23 was taken from us by a sudden AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) bleed on her brain. We loved Chloe with all our hearts. She was a loving caring young lady who touched the lives of everyone she knew. She was always smiling and lived life to the full in a very caring way. Her family and friends were extremely important and she spent much time with them when she could.
For Chloe I will be completing the Perth Australia City to Surf 12km run in late August 2015. The relevance of this is; the last time we were in the UK with Chloe, I completed a fun run while we stayed with her.
I would like to say thank you to my son TJ(12) and my friends Mark, Scott and Justine who are running with me in memory of Chloe.
Chloe was admitted to The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care Unit provided her with the best possible treatment to try and save her life, for which we are extremely thankful. Chloe's AVM bleed happened on the 16th of January 2015 and she bravely fought for 11 days before she lost her fight for life. We miss her every day.
We would like to recognise the work the good folk of the hospital do in brain injury recovery by raising awareness and sponsorship for their chosen charity - The National Brain Appeal.
I would be very grateful if you would contribute to my cause, do not feel there is an amount too small. It could be the equivalent of a cup of coffee or tomorrows lunch, or Friday nights bottle of wine, or tickets to the footy, etc..... thank you very much for your wonderful contribution.
Chloe was a wonderful daughter; I am very privileged to be her Dad and I love her dearly.
Tom
