WHAT & WHY :  Team ‘Safari Njema’ (Travel Well) will complete the National Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours (‘Safari’) to commemorate first year anniversary since losing our Dad, Grandad, Husband, Friend to Pancreatic Cancer; we will be raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (PCRF) to help them fund more innovative research to improve the current 3% survival rate and ultimately find a cure. We welcome any donations.

- The event has been organised in true Dad / Grandad ‘Safari’ style : Conquer the 3 highest peaks in England, Wales & Scotland within 24 hours. The 24-hour time includes both walking time and travel between the mountains—approximately thirteen hours hill-walking and eleven hours driving.

- We will begin by touching the sea at Fort William, ascend and descend all three mountains, finishing the challenge by touching the sea at Caernarfon.

WHO : Thomas (Ted's Son), William (Grandchild) Supported by our crew Hannah (Driving), Agnette & Isobel (Catering and Will power); plus anyone else . . . . .

WHERE : 3 Countries, 3 Mountains in 24 hours

5pm : Start Ben Nevis – 1,344m, by touching the sea at Fort William

10pm : Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (six hour drive)

4am : Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike – 978m (Wasdale Head)

8am : Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (five hour drive)

1pm : Arrive and start climbing Snowdon – 1,085m

5pm : Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge by touching the sea at Caernarfon

WHEN : Saturday 29^th August (1700hrs) - Sunday 30^th August (1700hrs)
