Story
In September 2009 Thomas “Gladiator” Noblett made a valiant attempt to swim the English Channel. Unfortunately due to set backs beyond his control, (namely the accompanying support boat breaking down) he was only able to wave at France from two miles out to sea! Despite not making it onto French soil, over £3000.00 was raised for charity.
Of course this is not going to stop the Gladiator making another attempt to swim the channel in summer 2010. This time he will be raising funds for Kidscape, which is the first charity in the UK established specifically to prevent bullying and child sexual abuse.
