London to Paris Cycle Ride · 10 September 2008 ·

Africa Foundation works with local organisations (NGO's) in Africa to ensure that children have access to their basic necessities. We achieve this through sustainable development projects. It works with locally established homes and schools, for street and orphaned children of Uganda, on sustainable development projects that fit well in their community. These projects fund the provision of food, water and health care for the children. They also provide vocational training skills in farming and crafts and empower the staff and children with a feeling of independence.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

We decided to cycle to Paris for no particular reason and then with just a few weeks to go we thought it might be an idea to get some sponsorhip and raise a bit cash at the same time.  Its a good cause so anything you give is much appreciated.  We haven't set a fundraising target but the way we see it the more the better.

We dont what any big donations but if all our friends chipped in a £1 then we would have about £5 which I'm sure would make a difference.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Africa Foundation for Uganda gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Oh and BTW the date is wrong.  We set off on the 3rd September and get there on the 5th.
