Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Hello there,

We are dusting off our trainers and getting fit to raise funds for the hospice by running the Great Eastern Half Marathon Run in Peterborough this October. (Sunday 12th October 2008)

“I am hoping we can raise lots of money to help our patients and help us to continue providing such great care.  I have even roped my husband in!” Sandra Rowe

We have set themselves a goal of raising £2,450, which is the cost of a whole week’s care for a patient at Thorpe Hall.

This would mean we can provide a patient with access to our expert team of doctors, nurses, therapists, chaplain and volunteers and ensure that someone who is seriously ill can get the best from life.

We would really love your help to make this possible.  Please support us.

We will update this site with our progress and photo's from the day.

Thank you

Susan, Maggie, Sandra and Paul
