A team of colleagues and friends are going to canoe the length of the Biggest lakes in Scotland, England and Wales.

Our incredible trip will commence on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland on July 6th 2010. We will then canoe the full length (23 miles) before driving to the Lake District and canoeing the entire length of Lake Windermere (a further 12 miles). The trip will then take us to Wales were we will conclude by canoeing the length of Lake Bala (a mere 4 miles).

Nobody in the group is very good at canoeing (and that is an understatement for most of us) so please be generous with your donation as we are all bound to get very, very wet in the name of charity!

Our Team of elite athletes consists of:

Colin Contini, Rachel Contini, Steve Downey, David Furness, Jeremy Flint, Simon Hickling, Barry Hough, Ian Kennedy, Andy Ludgate, Wayne Parker, Kevin Rimmer,  Helen Singer, Les Singer, Dave Weaver, and Phil Wheale and we will be supported (and possibly rescued) by Iain Shenton, Caroline Allen and Tony Rimmer

We are attempting to raise an Incredible £20,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

In order to allow as many people as possible to take part in our challenge, we have also invited some friends and colleagues to meet us in the Lake District and canoe the Lake Windermere stretch with us.

Peter Jones, Garry Scott, Callum Williams and Calum Wyatt have foolishly volunteered to do this!!!
