Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit The Three Marketeers JustGiving page.

Bell's Three Marketeers, Will Kinsman, Ian Megginson and Blair Byfield, will be cycling 120 miles on Friday 2 July from Bell Bedgebury in Kent to Bell International College in Cambridge, with a pit stop at Bell International Institute in London.

Your sponsorship will benefit children around the world supported by UNICEF UK. Here’s an example of how your donation will make a difference. If we...

... raise £24 we could ensure a child’s right to be healthy by buying mosquito nets to protect 8 families from malaria in the Republic of Congo.

... raise £70 we could help 80 children in Sri Lanka access their right to a childhood by providing a recreation kit, containing sports materials for cricket, football, basketball, badminton. This would give them to opportunity to take part in sport and play.

... raise £230 we could provide special training for a police officer in Liberia to protect women and children, helping to uphold their right to be treated fairly.

... raise £1500 and we could help 560 children in Zimbabwe access their right to education by providing essential learning materials such as exercise books, pencils and rulers.

In training for 3 months, the team share their top fitness tips...

“To build up to the event I’m focusing on diet and fitness, which means two slices of cake not three and getting up and changing the TV channel by hand instead of the remote. And I’ll also be avoiding lycra!”

Ian-Athos-Megginson
I started biking most work days, back and forth from the local park and ride to the office, which is about 25 miles per week. I've increased my weekly mileage by cycling home (a distance of 20 miles) twice a week. Next steps are to build up to a weekly average of 80 miles. I’ve made sure I’ve got thin tyres and they are inflated to their max PSI and I eat chocolate before every ride (this alone almost persuaded a few of my female friends to take part!)”

Blair-Porthos-Byfield
“Why put off today what you can do tomorrow!”

Thank you for helping us raise funds for UNICEF UK. We look forward to reporting back on the success of the event.
