Leicestershire 3 peak challenge · 22 September 2019

We believe that everyone deserves the basics in life, no matter what crisis, illness, disability or difficulty they may be going through. We change lives by providing essential items, including food, clothing, beds, cookers and fridges to help improve quality of life for vulnerable people in need.

Story

Leicestershire 3 Peaks challenge raises vital funds to help local Leicestershire families living in desperate need!

The challenge takes in the two highest peaks in Leicestershire – Beacon Hill (814ft) and Bardon Hill (912ft), along with the famous Old John Tower in Bradgate Park, plus a few other hills along the way!

This is a unique route, designed by Charity Link. It is a tough 16.5 (approx!) trek with fields, woodland and even quarries, but with a bit of training.

More about Charity Link - We believe that all local people deserve a decent standard of living, with a right to adequate food, shelter and the means to keep warm, clean and rested – no matter what difficulty they may be facing. We do this by finding funding to provide the essential items that everyone deserves. We can’t do this without the vital support of our donors. Every £10 donated unlocks £50 from charitable trusts and every single penny goes to help local people and children in need.
