For those of you that don't know what the challenge is all about , it entails:

Climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland , Sca Fell in the Lake District & Snowdon in Wales , all this is to be completed in 24 hours including the 11 hours of driving between the mountains.

If your at this page it's because you know one or all of us , so you'll know how much of a challenge this will be for us all ( fell runners we ain't ).

We are raising money to help fund a 3D Echocardiograph machine which is used to asses diseased heart valves and is especially useful for diagnosing problems in newborn babies and infants as it is easy to do and doesn't hurt.

These machines cost £113,000 so go on , please make a small donation to help fund a vital piece of equipment

Just a quick update , we completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in 23 hours and 29 minutes , we are all agreed it was the hardest thing we have ever attempted and will not be doing it again next year or any other year for that matter  :-)

A massive thank you to our 2 drivers who are not listed on the page , they are Roy Chapman and Alan Welsby (alan paid for the minibus too), they both worked just as hard as us, trying to stay awake , feed us and drive us between peaks , well done guys.

And finally a huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped us reach our target figure of £1000 and then get a little beyond.
