Thanks for taking the time to visit The Three Peaks Challenge for ELHAP JustGiving page. ELHAP is a unique, magical adventure playground that helps over 5,000 disabled children and young adults from across North East London. It is a small, not-for-profit charity that relies on fundraising to develop, improve and continue providing a quality service to children and their families. On the weekend of the 17th of June, 6 ELHAP play workers will be undertaking a The Three Peaks Challenge – to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.  The money raised will go towards funding for children who were previously paid for by the Children’s Fund.  We are all aware that the Three Peaks Challenge is quite ambitious and that we may well be reduced to smithereens along the way, but for ELHAP, it is worth it. Zen’s message (organiser): I have worked at ELHAP for over four years, and it is difficult to describe how special this charity really is. Watching children and young people with disabilities exploring, participating and thriving through adventure play is very unique. ELHAP shows us that regardless of who we are and our abilities that we are all special and that within each of us there is amazing potential.  Helen’s message: Having started at ELHAP in January this year, I am a fairly new addition to the team, however I have quickly become extremely passionate about this cause. As a nearly-qualified Speech and Language Therapy student, I have been amazed by what a fantastic environment ELHAP is, and the power of adventure play in helping children with profound communication difficulties to interact and be involved with the world around them.
