Shona, Eileen and Elspeth are supporting Grandad's Mad Munro Marathon in aid of the David Gemmell Living Memorial Fund with their own small effort - the Great Edinburgh Run 10k on 2 May 2010. The distance may be a tiny fraction of Gerry's but this is no less a challenge to three McPartlin girls who had to get up off the couch and get their trainers on!

We all made it round the course and survived to eat burgers and drink champagne afterwards. There's already talk of a rematch next year....
