As you know on October 19th I headed off with 9 others to ride mountain bikes through the Little Karoo and the Garden Route for five days. We covered approximately 361 kilometres over five days, in all weathers and including some very challenging uphill sections. The bike ride has now finished and full details will be posted on the blog shortly upon my return from South Africa.

The choice of charity, Action Cancer, is a very personal one. My granny Millar died of cancer in 1982, and sadly she wasn't the first relative or friend to die from or be diagnosed with cancer. The statistics show that 1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with cancer, so the work of  Action Cancer is ongoing and will increase.
