My story

Thank you for visiting Tico's memorial fund. The fund is now also in memory of Tico's baby brother, Dexter.

Tico was born on the 13th September 2007,  17 weeks prematurely. After a long and brave fight Tico sadly went to sleep on October 14th 2007. A memorial site telling his story can be found at http://tico-barnett.gonetoosoon.co.uk/my_index.php

Sadly, Tico's parents have suffered another loss. Baby Dexter was born on Saturday 22nd March 2008 at 05:22, 18 weeks prematurely. Dexter weighed more than his brother Tico but he was just too little, too weak and he went to sleep at 6am. A memorial site telling his story can be found at http://dexter-barnett.gonetoosoon.co.uk/my_index.php

Darcy, Tico and Dexter's parents would like their children to be remembered in a way that helps others. A lasting memory. Though flowers are very beautiful they don't last forever. The money donated here will go on - in their name - to help other prematurely born children. hopefully giving them a start in life.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: South Tees Acute Hospitals General Charitable Fund will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

The money raised on this page will be directed to the neonatal units dedicated fund (F103) and will be used in a way to benefit prematurely born children in the Middlesbrough area.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.
