Tideway Adventurers Narrowboat Project will be hosting the inaugural 48 in 24 on the weekend of 17-18 October 2009. Participants, who include members of the project and their friends, will walk 48km along the Grand Union Canal, starting at Uxbridge over a 24 hour period. Money raised from the sponsored event will go towards fitting both of the Project’s 70 ft narrowboats, with new modern hot water heaters.
