AMMF is the UK's only cholangiocarcinoma charity. Our main aims are to raise the awareness of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), to provide information, and to support specialised research teams in their work to find the causes, methods of earlier diagnosis and treatments for this disease.

Story

Hello!

I did it! I completed the 29th Paris Marathon on Sunday 10th April in 5 hours, 1 minute and 33 seconds. It was a fantastic day, the weather was perfect and the support along the route was amazing. It was a wonderful way to spend my Birthday, I can highly recommend it!

There should be photos on the official Paris marathon site soon, you can also check out my times at 10K, 20K and 30K if you search for Howick at http://www.parismarathon.com/marathon/2005/us/classements.html

Despite a few aches and pains and difficulty in going down stairs, I'm already thinking about doing another one...

If you have already sponsored me, thank you very much, your support is really appreciated. If you have not yet sponsored me and would like to, please do! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: AMMF will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Thanks again! Tiff
