Thanks for coming to my page to donate, I really do appreciate it.
Having already completed one London Marathon I don't really know what I'm doing attempting another! I only know that the day will be amazingly challenging and rewarding, all rolled up together. The charity I have chosen really is a good one. They do some amazing work in trying to find new and different ways to fight cancer, which directly affects far too many of us.
I know times are hard, we are in a recession (no matter what the Government tell us), there have been pay freezes and cuts, Arctic weather has landed on our shores and here I am asking you for more money! All I can say is that it really is worth it. If it makes you feel any better training for 26.2 (that 0.2 matters) miles isn't all that much fun, especially in the cold, wet & snow! That added on to the various aches, pains, niggles and injuries sustained along the way must show a degree of determination - which surely should be rewarded!!So please dig deep and donate what you can.
Many ThanksTilden
