My story

I am raising money for Hft through an ongoing topiary project in public spaces that engage local communites and create an amusing talking point. Examples of my first efforts are shown here and will be added to as new people sponsor me.

For many years Hft have looked after my youngest sister Martha, who has Downs Sydrome. She is wonderfully happy in a safe and secure community of people with similar disabilties.

The proposition : I will design (or cut to specific request), and do the first cut and three or four follow up shaping cuts at later visits (usually it takes about three years for a mature shape to appear). You donate £250 for the first design and major shaping cut and then pay at least £75 for the follow up cuts on each visit. (if it involves travel this will be charged at cost). Hft will be very happy if you donate more but I leave that to you.You get a unique hedge that will be the envy of the neighbourhood and people will smile a lot as they walk by.

Please feel free to donate to support the work even if you don't have a hedge, as I am trying to reach an ambitious target of £5,000. Anything, however small, will be greatly appreciated.
