Thanks for coming to Tim and Sam's fundraising page.

As most of you are aware I am currently out in Pretoria with Ambassadors In Sport (AIS). AIS are a Christian charity organisation that aim to bring hope to the children of South Africa through football.

Next weekend AIS are hosting their largest annual fundraiser which is a massive football endurance event called Match for a Day. The concept is for an AIS team to play 24, back to back, hour long matches against different local teams and companies. This year we have managed to secure the amazing venue of Orlando Stadium in Soweto - check out some of the photos attached.

All proceeds raised through Match for a Day will be going towards setting up a new Hope Academy in Soweto and also supporting our current academy in Leeuwkop Juvenile Correctional Centre.

As I am now classed as an old man I am going to struggle playing for anywhere near 24 hours so I have recruited the help of Sam (pictured above - I know I've been gone a while but I trust no one thought that was me). Sam was part of our Hope Academy at Leeuwkop and was last week released. He is an amazing guy whose life has been transformed by the Hope Academy. We are really hoping that Sam will be able to work with AIS in the future as he has a fantastic testimony to share and is also extremely gifted at football.

We are both asking for your support to enable us to take part in the event. It has been requested by the powers that be at AIS that each player give a small contribution to encourage us in our endeavour (my target has been doubled as I would like to assist Sam who is not in a position to raise support)
