From summer 2015, Grace House, will provide short break care services for children who have life-limiting conditions and disabilities: www.gracehouse.co.uk

Around 1,000 families in the North East are currently dealing with the devastating news that their child will not live to be an adult. Grace House will offer physical and emotional palliative care and support for affected children and their families. 

The North East currently has the lowest number of hospice beds for children in the whole country, so the need is great.

To raise money, I'll not only be running the London Marathon (for the first time), but in addition I will remain standing* throughout March and April until the Marathon has been run. 

*Monday-Friday, 9-5, no sitting, casual leaning allowed.
