Great West Run 2009 · 3 May 2009 ·

The Peninsula Foundation supports medical research and education at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry. It is a centre of medical excellence, leading on internationally competitive research into an array of conditions and diseases that affect people today.

Story

Neurologists and researchers from the Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology Unit in Exeter will be running their second Great West Run half marathon, to help fund research into Transient Epileptic Amnesia.

The group, headed by Professor Adam Zeman, is investigating how epilepsy affects memory, and developing devices to aid memory problems suffered by people with epilepsy, as part of the TIME project. You can read more about what we're doing here:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology Unit will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Last year we managed to raise £1,205. With your help, we hope to improve on that amount this year!

Many thanks for your support.
