<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. It has been a couple of years since I last did a fundrasing event and this year I have really decided to challenge myself.</p>
<p>I am taking part in the London Revolution which is a 180 mile cycle ride. The ride goes in and around london and covers part of the old and new Olympic cycle route. </p>
<p>I will be doing all of this using only the power of my arms in my handbike!! This will also be more of a challenge as my season doesn't finish until the begining of April leaving me less than two months to get back on the bike and train.</p>
<p>Most importantly the event takes place on the 20th May my 30th Birthday! What a way to celbrate!!!</p>
<p>I am doing this to raise some much needed funds for the British Disabled Ski Team. The team has gone through lots of changes over the last year, but we are still grosly under funded and all the athletes are self funded. Despite this we still punch above our weight and have had some great results.</p>
<p><br>The money will go to cover costs of the everyday running of the team leading up to Sochi 2014 as well as helping the team develop and build on the success of the last couple of years. <br><br>The team now also has a strong development and youth team which are pushing for places for Sochi 2014 but as always with a growing team comes growing costs and to help the future of the British Disabled Ski Team take the next step to Paralympic Glory we really do need all the help we can get.</p>
