On 6am on Sunday morning I will be on my bike, riding 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle for a great charity, the Prince’s Trust.

As you may know, I am not a morning person at the best of times. And making this task especially difficult, my riding companions John and Jon have just bought brand new, lightweight & very expensive carbon-fibre road bikes – and don’t I bloody know about it. (Still, at least I am not carrying any extra “spare tyres”)
