The ride is from Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th - but you are welcome to donate after the event is over...
This year, happily, there were no accidents or injuries, other than those I seem to have inflicted on my thighs, which have me hobbling about in a quite pathetic manner.
In the end it was a small group of 15 riders who left Paris on a pretty damp and dark morning last Friday. But apart from one major storm which hit late on one day one, the weather was much kinder to us than the forecasts had predicted, and we reached London in lovely sunshine on Sunday afternoon, where we were met by a small delegation from the Bangladeshi and Pakistan High Commission who feted us with samosas and wine and were very appreciative of our efforts.
I'm not sure how much we've raised in total so far - but every pound raised goes a long way, and to a very good cause. Many thanks to all of you who have contributed or are about to contribute!
