<p>Hello All. I am planning on climbing Ben Nevis on the 7th August for the Charity Amantani. <br /><br />The charity has set up 3 boarding schools near Cusco in Peru. They have transformed the lives of 64 Peruvian children who previously walked up to 8 hours daily to get to and from school. Many of them escape terrible conditions at home.<br />The boarding houses provide proper nutritious food as well as extra tuition and proper support from the boarding house teachers.<br /><br />For more information on the charity visit amantani.org.uk <br /><br />I will be climbing the mountain with the equivalent weight of one of the children in need on my back. It is a very good friend of mines charity and he goes to Peru every year to help out.
