My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We're running 10k for Weston Park Hospital in support of our friend Tim Richardson, who's having treatment there at present. Most of us have friends and/or family who've been patients there, and we know how vital the Hospital's work is in improving cancer treatment and care, and doing groundbreaking research which will benefit thousands of cancer patients now and in years to come.
Tim's an inspiration to us in so many ways - he raised thousands for Children in Need last year by lecturing non-stop for 24 hours - and we want to show our support for him, and for Weston Park.

Tim's Team all crossed the finish line earlier today - fastest time 38 mins 17 (well done Al!). We're proud to be raising funds for such a fantastic cause, and it was wonderful to have Tim there to cheer us on.

Weston Park Hospital is one of only four hospitals in England dedicated exclusively to cancer treatment. Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity supports the hospital by raising vital funds to support pioneering research and to improve treatments and care for people living with cancer.
