We climbed the wretched mountain but unfortunatley I didnt get to the top! I managed to get to Summit Camp, I suffered Altitude Sickness. Jim however made it to the top.
I have to say this was the worst holiday I have ever had and would never want to repeat. I have never felt so ill.
Jim also struggles to say anything positive about it, apart from the group of people we were with.

I know of six young people ranging from the ages of 15 to 24 who have passed away from the effects of Cystic Fibrosis.
The CFTrust have made a huge difference to the lives of CF sufferers. In 1960, the average life expectancy was 5 years and now because of the research in understanding of how to manage this debilitating genetic disease in 2009 is 33 years. Without the support of donations this would not have been possible.
