Story
We did it. On Wednesday afternoon we arrived under the Eiffel Tower after cycling 284 miles - the last 3 of which did in a peleton of 80 riders up the Champs Elysees and round the Arc de Triomphe, causing traffic to come to a standstill. It was a tough few days but worth it for an ending like that. I can confirm I suffered no chaffing and I didn't walk once.
As well as being my current employer, Macmillan provides practical, medical, emotional and financial support to thousands of people affected by cancer each year. They aim to be there for everyone, from point of diagnosis to ensure that no one has to go through their cancer journey alone. My family benefitted directly from the support Macmillan can provide both when Dad was ill and more recently when my 'surrogate' Dad was also diagnosed.
They can only continue to improve the bredth of their services and the number of people they can reach through the generous support of people like you. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now and many thanks for your support.
