I'm taking part in the suitably mad Santa Dash (http://www.santa-dash.com/) to raise money for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is close to my heart as recent years have seen too many of my family, friends and broadcasting legend Danny Baker (yes, I know there's only one of him, so 'too many' doesn't quite fit... never mind!!) go through this horrible illness and every penny that goes towards something that might find a way of halting it is a penny well spent. So please give generously, and rest assured I will be listening to a personally chosen selection of ridiculous Christmas records en route: The Rhodes Kids, Percy Sugden, Ed 'Kookie' Byrnes...
