My mum recently died from Pancreatic Cancer, which currently suffers from the lowest survival rate of any cancer, with the vast majority of deaths occurring within one year of diagnosis.  My mum was one of them, and died aged 61.  It is very difficult to detect, difficult to operate and has relatively ineffective treatments.

My fundraising is also in the memory of John Whiteford, friend and family member who also died recently of the same disease.
