My story

In 2011 I am taking part in at least 3 charity cycle rides to raise a pound a day for the British Heart Foundation.

In 2010 I was almost 21 stone and hadn't cycled in 15 years. In March of that year I got a bike and started cycling everywhere. I completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride, 12 months before I thought I'd be ready. With a thirst for cycling events I then took part in the 70 mile London to Hastings Bike Ride.

I plan to take part in the following events in 2011 for the BHF;

London to Brighton - 19th June (54 miles) - COMPLETE
Goodwood Cycle Ride - 31st July (min. 21 laps of 2.4 miles) - COMPLETE
Ringmer Novice Triathlon - 21st August - COMPLETE
London to Hastings - 28th August (70 miles) - COMPLETE
