Dear all,
As you probably all know we will be driving 6000km to tajikistan (if you dont know where it is, dont worry we had no clue before we had this idea!) on the 29th of March in our rusty 1989 BMW 3 series estate (nicknamed Joseph). The car was bought from a fat scouse for just over £500 and has already proved to be a relatively reliable beast. Our route can be seen here and will take us about a month depending on how many times we break down. Starting in London, we will zoom through Europe, bosh through turkey and then most probably be held up constantly for various reasons through the caucases and into the 'stans' where road infrastructure can best be labelled as 'poor'. We will have to prepare ourselves for desert, swamp and river crossings. When we arrive the car will be donated to Save the Children who will either use it for missions around Dushanbe or most probably sell it out there where it is worth more than in the UK.
And for those that like to trace their money. All donations from here go towards GO Help which is a charity that supports local community projects in Central Asia's poorest country, Tajikistan. Recently they have supported a local English school called Sworde Teppa that provides foreign language skills to those unable to afford education.

Any amount would be most welcome!!!!!
Many Thanks,
Love you All,
Toby and Jim x
