Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I talk FAR TOO much, so I have decided that the best way to shut me up is to throw money at the situation!  So here is how it works ....... I am willing to do a sponsored silence........ But for how long is up to you!  You can buy minutes, £2 a minute.  To shut me up for 12 hours will cost £1,440.00.  Should I go over this amount then you will be buying sign language words for me to learn during the silence.

Now, I am not going to do this at night - I can't, I even talk in my sleep! On Tuesday 17th May I will be in the lobby of Salisbury District hospital for as long as it takes.

What am I raising money for?  Well, the Stars Appeal.  We are the charity for Salisbury District Hospital, we raise money throughout the hospital, every unit, every ward.  We have larger projects on, for example we are only £100,000 away from adding more rooms to the already proposed 2 family rooms in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. At the moment our mums are having to live away from their tiny premature babies, their siblings can't come in, this is just not right. This is what I am going to give this money towards, the family rooms in the NICU.

We don't just look after our local children, we have also raised £500,000 for our cardiac unit, the equipment in there now enables 300 people to be treated close to home, rather than being sent to Southampton and Bournemouth. Our Keyhole Cancer unit, the Bereavement suit, The Pembroke cancer ward, we even pay for an aromatherapist to go into the chemo ward and give delicious treatments for everyone undergoing chemo. What the Stars Appeal does goes on and on and on (a bit like me!).  There is only so much that the NHS can do, for everything else they pretty much depend on us.

Told you I talk too much.  Please, Please, PLEASE SHUT ME UP!
